Whitney Port Leaves The Hills, Heads For The City

The Hills just ended season 4, and MTV is so distraught that it’s replaced the reality hit with two spinoffs on Monday nights, starting Dec. 29.

The first is the so-bad-it-can-only-be-bad reality competition show Bromance, starring Lauren Conrad’s former fling and current pal, Brody Jenner. It basically looks like a male version of Paris Hilton’s My New BFF, which was equal parts horrid and unwatchable.

Moving on to the more appealing 10 p.m. slot, in which Lauren’s former Teen Vogue co-hort Whitney Port takes on the New York fashion world in The City, with a whole new cast of pretty, skinny, catty friends. It’s Gossip Girl meets Sex and the City meets The Hills! See for yourself in the video preview below, then come on back for weekly recaps at Film.com starting Dec. 30.
