Apparently, Bravo doesn’t believe in having too much of a good thing.
Shortly after the news that the network will pick up The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills — starring at least one of Paris Hilton’s aunts, no less — comes word that The Real Housewives of D.C. is also a go.
And here’s the kicker: The new series will star infamous White House gate crashers Michaele and Tareq Salahi. Can’t wait to see what their opening-montage tag line will be…
Though Bravo hasn’t made an official announcement, The Daily Beast is reporting that all 12 episodes of the premiere season have been filmed, and the show will premiere this summer.
But how many housewives are too many? Maybe Bravo will phase out the original Orange County housewives, who have devolved from sort of real people into shrieking shrews.
