Deena's mother, Frankie, comes for a visit and is not aware that that Dave and Deena are back together. Dave gets into a fist fight with Deena's ex-lover after Frankie tells him he's not right for Deena anymore. Dave finds out that Brian got the promotion he wanted. Against Natasha's wishes, Brian assigns a big project to Dave and he blows it off. Now that Brian is single again, he gets offers from both his downstairs neighbors. Adam and Nicole deal with the aftermath of sleeping together. The friends finally visit Ivy and Jimmy's home and discover Ivy was once a child star.
