Veronica Mars: Debasement Tapes

Piz needs Veronica's help tracking down some tapes that belong to 1990s pop rocker Desmond Fellows. Veronica initially feels uncomfortable being around Piz after their kiss, but when he makes it clear that he knows she's not interested, she's able to focus on the case. Meanwhile, Logan needs to come up with a model business plan for class and enlists the aid of trusty computer wiz Mac. But he also wants to probe her for information about the nature of Veronica and Piz's relationship. Mac would rather talk to Max, though, and, eventually she decides that she's happier with him than with her boyfriend; Keith gets a tip on a crime from ex-deputy Leo. When he goes to break up the crime, he finds that Vinnie Van Lowe has beaten him to the punch, and intends to use the good will press his actions generated to compete against Keith in the special election for county sheriff; and, Veronica takes a chance with Piz.
