Synopsis:
Keith builds a compelling case against Professor Landry in the murder of Dean O'Dell, but Landry produces an alibi that Veronica, with the assistance of Landry's assistant Tim Foil, is able to verify. Then, Mindy O'Dell ships her kids off to England, buys a boat, and flees Neptune. Once Landry is released he pursues her and the two have a confrontation that leads to Mindy falling overboard. Meanwhile, Tim is given Landry's class and asks Veronica to be his new assistant, and it's in the middle of class that she realizes that Tim was the one who killed the Dean in order to set up his mentor, who had previously given him a less than stellar recommendation of him to another university. And, Logan asks Veronica's permission to date Parker.
