Veronica Mars: Postgame Mortem

Veronica and Keith try to prove the innocence of the basketball coach's son, whom Lamb has labeled the chief suspect in the coach's murder. But eyewitness testimony from one of the coach's benched stars leads to the son's arrest. Meanwhile, Logan has to babysit the sister of Dick's newest girlfriend when she and Dick run off to Vegas. The little girl learns of Logan's longing for Veronica and encourages him to get back together with her, but he knows that he has a lot of work to do in order for that to happen; Keith and Veronica confirm that Mrs. O'Dell's car was not at the hotel where she and Professor Landry were the night of Dean O'Dell's murder, and that a bellhop heard two men shouting in the cheaters' hotel room shortly after the murder. And, when the coach's son escapes from jail, Sheriff Lamb arrests Veronica.
