Synopsis:
Mr. Prettiman is injured when the wind blows hard and knocks him over. Miss Granham takes care of him, and the two announce their engagement. A ship is sighted in the distance, which ends up being a British ship announcing that the war is over. Edmund meets Marion and falls in love, but due to his injury he cannot express himself. Wheeler, who is terrified of drowning when the boat is damaged, shoots himself.
