Synopsis:
Sean McGrail, a neighborhood cop, and Annie Cornell, a defense attorney are both as deeply involved in their cases as they are in love. As luck would have it, their cases frequently pit them against each other. The couple's extended family includes: Sean's wild brothers Tommy and Michael, who are also cops; brother Patrick, a firefighter; Sean's overly dramatic Irish mother Fiona; Robert, his taciturn father; Annie's mother Ellen; and Carolyn, Annie's sister and closest confidant.
