The X-Files: The Sixth Extinction II: Amor Fati

The Cigarette Smoking Man removes Mulder from the hospital when he discovers that Mulder's sickness is caused by an extra-terrestrial genetic vaccine against the coming viral apocalypse. Only Scully can save him, and she does so with some help from Diana Fowley, who is found murdered the week after Mulder is rescued.
