The Situation Goes To Rehab

It was only a matter of time before one of the stars of Jersey Shore entered rehab, and now TMZ is reporting that Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino is the one breaking the rehab seal.

According to the TMZ report, The Sitch has entered an inpatient treatment program for substance abuse. While a rep for Sorrentino wouldn’t confirm the news was true, they did say that the man known for his sexual prowess and a mean six pack “has spent the past several weeks at an undisclosed location for much needed rest and recuperation after his extensive production and appearance schedule.”

It’s no secret that the Jersey Shore cast, The Sitch included, rides the party train hard. And when the show isn’t filming, Sorrentino gets paid to party at nightclubs during appearances that earn him anywhere from $15,000 to $50,000 each.

With this news, we have to wonder: Now that Snooki’s pregnant, does this mean that TWO Jersey Shore stars will be on the wagon when season six shoots this summer? Will the others be able to drink all that Ron-Ron juice themselves? These are the things that keep us up at night…
