The Riches: Pilot

Meet the Malloy's, a family of Irish Travellers who rove the southeast United States. The father, Wayne, has a gift for lying and the desire to be more than a pick-pocket. The mother, Dahlia, is considered to be Traveller royalty, despite her lowly husband. She's just been released from prison after two years. Then there's matter of Dahlia's cousin, who wants her for himself. When a car accident kills a wealthy couple, Wayne decides that the family will assume their identity and move into their new home, to live the American Dream by stealing it. The plan is the perfect way for them to get away from their Traveller heritage, but the balancing act between keeping up appearances to their new suburban neighbors, called Buffers, and their traditions might be too tough to manage.
