The Practice: The Candidate (Part 2)

Ellenor continues her defense of a Senator accused of murder and the bizarre circumstances of the crime begin to unfold.After the trial doesn't go favorably, his daughter admits to the crime though no one on either side finds it plausible. The senator's wife reveals to Ellenor under attorney/client privelege, and after he accepts the plea bargain for manslaughter, that she was the killer and acted to prevent his lover from going public. He preferred to go to jail and protect his family, than have his homosexuality become public knowledge.
