Synopsis:
A reverend is found dead in the woods, having been poisoned. Inspector Lynley has to investigate whether a jealous person murdered the reverend because he was having an affair. Strangely, the police seem strangely adamant that the reverend's death was accidental. But things get even more interesting when the woman the reverend was dining with exactly resembles his supposedly deceased wife.
