Synopsis:
Inspector Lynley travels to Manchester to determine who killed a young woman and her friend while out camping. Havers, having been demoted, is called to help Lynley, but her almost clerical role doesn't sit well with her. Together, the detectives uncover a web of prostitution and lies.
