Audrina Patridge is fleeing The Hills for greener pastures. The reality star has signed a deal with reality TV uber-producer Mark Burnett to star in a new reality series about her life. So in other words, it's The Hills starring Patridge instead of Lauren Conrad, who jumped ship and effectively ended the MTV show after its upcoming fifth season.

Since Burnett is best known as the mastermind behind Survivor, we'd totally get behind a show that involves dropping Patridge on a desert island. Her personality can't carry a show that involves doing anything other than blank staring.
Former Hills co-star Whitney Port didn't fare so well in her own MTV spinoff that had her moving to New York City to pursue a job in fashion. Although MTV renewed the show for a second season, its ratings remain low and storylines are downright boring.

The Audrina show will be shopped to networks next week. Meanwhile, the 10-episode fifth season of The Hills premieres March 30.
