The Hills star Audrina Patridge appeared on The Ellen DeGeneres Show today, furthering the myth that she is a real celebrity. How did this happen?? What could Audrina possibly contribute to a live talk show? It's not like she has anything to promote. As far as I can tell, her main skills are smiling tremulously in awkward social situations and turning on a blank stare.
Of course, I watched.
Audrina spent approximately three minutes talking about Heidi's feud with Lauren and debating whether or not Lauren hooked up with Justin Bobby, while Ellen pretended to care, but admitted she doesn't watch the show. Then Ellen suggested that Audrina put on a bikini and sit in the dunk tank. Audrina, smiling tremulously, agreed. Are you serious?
The whole thing was ridiculous and perplexing. Taye Diggs and Kanye West were the other guests on today's show, and I'm kind of shocked that they didn't demand to be on a show with a more respectable roster. Especially Kanye.
