Christian Slater’s going to need to do some more cameos on The Office, because his show just got cancelled on ABC.

The Forgotten debuted to high ratings last fall in its prime timeslot after Dancing With the Stars, but viewership nosedived over the course of its first season.

Two remaining episodes have been shot, but it’s unclear whether they will air. An ABC spokesperson said they have not yet been scheduled. ABC is airing Flash Forward next Tuesday in The Forgotten timeslot.

The show followed a group of civilians who try to identify the remains of people — the “forgotten” — when police investigations reach a dead end.
