Synopsis:
Cliff learns that there is a 50%-off sale at Jake's, his favorite appliance store. Despite the family's best efforts, Cliff goes to the store and strikes up a conversation with his friend Jake, the owner. Jake tells Cliff a story from 10 years ago about a car accident he was in that was caused by his friend Stanley, whom he no longer speaks with. Cliff learns from Jake's daughter Cookie that she wants to marry Stanley's son Jonathan but is afraid to tell Jake. Cliff acts as an intermediary and brings Jake and Stanley together, where Stanley confesses his fault in the accident; the two become friends again.
