Synopsis:
Theo wants to ask Julia out after finding out Howard has broken up with her but is nervous, so he asks his friend Denny to talk to Julia. Theo is upset when Julia asks Denny on a date and confronts her, telling her that he and Justine have broken up and that he wants to go out with her. Julia learns from Justine that Theo is lying, and neither woman will speak to Theo. Rudy wants to buy Clair a necklace for her birthday, and Cliff agrees to give her the money if she does chores around the house. She is reluctant at first but eventually does a good job.
