Synopsis:
Cliff contacts Ray, the estranged grandfather of a laboring patient, and tells him that the patient, Louisa, wants him to come to the hospital because she has no other family members there for support. Ray is very proud to be a great-grandfather and wants to help with the new baby but gets angry when Cliff offers him a set of child-rearing pamphlets. Clair deduces that Ray is illiterate, and a former English teacher in the waiting room offers to help Ray.
