Synopsis:
Vanessa and a few of her girlfriends try out to be the first female drum major in school history. Vanessa has a great tryout but is passed over for another boy; Theo learns from a few of his friends that the judges had no intentions of allowing a girl on the team. Another tryout is organized, but Vanessa is beaten out by another girl. Cliff and Russell visit Slim, an old friend of Russell's, and Russell tries to pay back Slim for money he lent him to buy an engagement ring a long time ago.
