Synopsis:
Denise and Sondra come home for the weekend to keep Clair company while she nurses a back injury. Denise gets a 'D' on a third straight English assignment, and the professor allows her to redo it. Denise is discouraged that Sondra gets straight A's in her classes and Denise is struggling just to keep up with all of her schoolwork. Cliff and Clair give her some tips on her work habits. Rudy is disappointed with her role in the dance recital, but Vanessa teaches her how to milk the part.
