Synopsis:
An informant's wife and an FBI agent are both murdered and Brenda and Fritz disagree on which department should handle the case. When Brenda gets it, she is told she has two days to solve the case before the lead witness is scheduled to testify against a powerful mobster. Meanwhile, Brenda's cat is missing because Fritz left her front door open.
