In Touch Weekly is reporting that DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak, who met and fell in love (with fame, anyway, if not each other) on ABC's The Bachelorette, have split. Is anyone surprised? Anyone?
I'm guessing once the media whirlwind was over, DeAnna discovered she and her snowboarder dude didn't have all that much in common. It's unfortunate timing for ABC, which is currently prepping its next edition of The Bachelor, which will court viewers who should know better by now.
At least Trista and Ryan got knocked up again, so they've got that going for them. Which is nice.
DeAnna told In Touch that she "slowly came to realize that we are two totally different people and it wasn't going to work out." Well, anyone who watched The Bachelorette could've told her that. Jesse reportedly said DeAnna broke up with him at the airport and that she wants to move to Los Angeles. Brutal!
Meantime, Jesse is dealing with the breakup by posting a video online. How very Al Reynolds of him.
Is it too late for DeAnna to apply for Jason Mesnick's edition of The Bachelor? According to a production schedule floating around the Internet, yes: Jason should be filming his hometown dates this week.
Film.com's FREE movie of the week is "Nosferatu: A Symphony of Horror." This 1922 classic of cinema based on Bram Stoker's "Dracula" (but with names changed) directed by F.W. Murnau and starring Max Schrek in one of films most famous and frightening make-up jobs.
