Jillian is engaged!
The Bachelorette accepted a proposal from Ed Swiderski in Monday night's finale, surprising many fans who expected second runner-up Reid Rosenthal to play spoiler.
In a "shocking" last-minute change of heart that Bachelor/Bachelorette fans have come to expect, Reid showed up in Hawaii to profess his love for Jillian after being sent home for being unable to express his feelings. Alas, his marriage proposal was rejected.
Runner-up Kiptyn Locke also got no love from Jillian, but he shold recover nicely if ABC names him the next Bachelor, which seems likely.
