Melissa Rycroft is engaged -- again.
Only this time, the former Bachelor finalist did it off-camera. Rycroft accepted a proposal from boyfriend Tye Strickland on Friday night in Dallas.
She announced the engagement on ABC's Good Morning America, where she has a summer gig as a special correspondent.
"Sometimes the stars align and the clouds part and everything works out the way it should," Rycroft said.
Rycroft was dumped on national television in March after winning the final rose on The Bachelor. Jason Mesnick later changed his mind and started dating runner-up Molly Malaney.
Rycroft and Strickland are old friends who started dating a few months ago. He was frequently spotted cheering her on during her stint on Dancing With the Stars.
