In the coastal waters off Argentina, Rob & Amber gambled by continuing through the Detour in a broken boat to take the lead and a first-place finish. In the back of the pack, on-and-off dating couple Ray & Deana battled retired married couple Meredith & Gretchen, but in the end, mother and son Susan & Patrick, stranded on a broken boat, became the fourth team eliminated.
