The Hills: Finally, Heidi Has Doubts About Spencer

At last, Audrina seems to be completely rid of Justin Bobby (who Whitney and LC have now taken to calling "JB," to my endless amusement). She's dating some hottie British guy who takes her to sushi and calls her back and kisses her. "And bathes," adds Lauren. I love Lauren. They should give that girl her own TV show. Oh, wait.

Meanwhile, we've introduced Spencer's sister, Stephanie, into the mix, because it seems to be the most convenient way for Heidi to find a way out of this wedding she never wanted to have in the first place. Heidi confesses to Stephanie that she's having cold feet about the wedding, and, of course, Stephanie tells her brother, who promptly freaks out and behaves like a jackass. He storms out of their apartment, and Heidi tells him that if he leaves, he shouldn't come back. I hope he never, ever, ever comes back.

And Lauren's back to her typical on-again-off-again with Brody. She's pissed that Brody's out with a different long-legged blonde every night. "I'm not stupid," she says, meaning, "I read the tabloids and pictures don't lie." The highlight of this week's episode, for me, was watching Lauren go through Brody's cell phone. "Alex, Alex, Allie, Alison, Amanda, Amber, Amber, Amy, Amy, Amy, Angie, Angie, Anna, Anna, April, Adrian, Ashley, Ashley, Aubrey, Blonde Hottie, Bridget Wanna Bang, Britney Miami Call Her, Britney Platinum Blonde, Britney Canada Whore." Somewhere in Canada, there's a Britney all like, "Hey! He said he wanted to date me!" And I can honestly say I have never met a girl named Amber who wasn't a stripper. (Sorry to Ambers everywhere, but it's true.) Brody asks her what she wants from him, but Lauren's too insecure to admit that she wants a commitment from him, and the episode ends on an awkward note between them.
