Dancing With the Stars: 4/8 Elimination Show "Keep the Butt in Sight"Adam and Julianne failed to impress the judges and Priscilla and Louis were penalized for a lift.

Last night Dancing With The Stars was a pretty awesome show! Kristi & Mark continue to be the team to beat, but Jason & Edyta did a sexy Viennese Waltz to put them back in the game. I was so happy to see Marissa & Tony do well and Christian & Cheryl were hot. I don't think Louis choreographed that "lift," it seems that Priscilla lifted her feet on her own and it cost them in the scores. I don't even know what to say about Adam. Their routine was cute and entertaining, but that was the most bizarre paso doble that I've ever seen. Tonight, Sheryl Crow kicked off the night by singing "All I Wanna Do" while Tony, Edyta, Fabian and Kym danced. Then they recapped last night's performances with the abundance of 10s. I still want to know who picks the music for the dances. Some of the songs seemed so inappropriate for the type of dancing done. Anyway, the encore performance pick turned out to be as different as last week's pick. Len said that the judges couldn't decide who to pick, so they went with the most entertaining dance. And that was Adam and Julianne's paso doble. Then the first two couples, in no particular order, we're told, were declared safe. Jason & Edyta and Kristi & Mark will be back next week to dance for us. Instead of my favorite part of the elimination show, the Macy's Stars of Dance Performances, for the next few weeks, there will be a kiddie competition. That's right, they are going to give ballroom kids the opportunity to compete in front of the judges. Last night two couples under the age of 9 danced. Both couples were very good, but the second couple, Aaron and Rushelle, seemed much more mature in their dance. They did a very nice paso doble while the first couple did a Samba to a Little Mermaid tune. The second couple won by a score of 2 to 1 and will be back to compete some more. After Sheryl Crow sang a song off of her new CD while the Latin Dance Champs danced, Marlee & Fabian were pronounced safe. To fill more time, Samantha then interviewed Kristi & Mark and Jason & Edyta backstage. Samantha called Jason out on saying that the competition was a one horse race and asked him if he still felt that way after last night. He told her that he still felt that Kristi was the one horse, and that she was way out in front, but as long as he could keep the butt of the horse in sight, he'd continue to chase it. HA! Finally, they get to the rest of the results. Christian & Cheryl, Mario & Karina, Shannon & Derek, and Marissa & Tony were all told that they were safe. Priscilla & Louis and Adam & Julianne were in the bottom two this week... and Adam and Julianne have danced their last dance for us. What will next week bring? Marissa & Tony brought their game up this week and if they continue, next week any of the couples could go home. At this point, there are no stinkers in the bunch. I can't wait to find out how this will play out. Until then! Most Popular Stories
