Big Brother 9 wrapped up last night with the finale show. Spending a total of 76 days in the house, Adam Jasinski and Ryan Quicksall were the two finalists and it was up to a jury of seven evicted houseguests to decide their fates. One of them would win the grand prize of $500,000 and the other would walk away with only $50,000.

Julie Chen presided over the show and the jury last night and everything came off without a hitch. After the jury cast their votes live before a studio audience and the television viewing audience, Julie read the votes to Adam and Ryan who were still locked up inside the Big Brother house. By a vote of 6-1, Adam became the winner of this season's Big Brother.

Once they exited the house to hug and shake hands with their former housemates, the season was officially over. Well almost. Julie had announced at the beginning of the show that America would be able to vote for their favorite juror on the CBS website. The juror with the most votes would win a cash prize of $25,000. "Crazy James" Zinkand was that juror to many's delight.

Overall, this season of Big Brother came in like a lion and went out like a lamb. Forced couplings brought fireworks early on -- both sexual and emotional. With more nudity and sex than any of its previous seasons, many fans tuning in to the live feeds loved it and hated it all at the same time. One thing is for sure, the goings-on kept the fans on their toes this season.

As many fan favorites were voted out of the house one by one, the season's end became a hard one for many fans to take, and caused them to root for who they disliked the least instead of who they liked the best. Adam was the popular vote in that area and wound up walking away with the prize in the end. Most would say it was an underwhelming end to a very lively season.

Here's to Big Brother 9 and Adam Jasinski! And here's hoping that it will be a thrilling Big Brother 10 which begins on July 13.

[Raise a glass and toast in celebration!]
