Comedy series centering on the activities of "Sports Night," a nightly program on the Continental Sports Channel where the frantic team of researchers, producers and talent not only have to report on up-to-the-minute sports news, but manage to turn hockey scores into witty banter. For co-anchors Casey McCall and Dan Rydell, this comes naturally, as the two are best friends on and off camera. Their executive producer is Dana Whitaker and the managing editor is Isaac Jaffee, who's tough on his staff but defends them against the network brass. Senior associate producer Natalie Hurley is the youngest of the crew but is extremely competent. Jeremy Goodwin is an associate producer and research analyst.
