Noooooo ABC, say it isn’t so! It looks like Bachelor fan favorite Emily Maynard won’t be starring on The Bachelorette after all.

Instead, according to online reports, dentist Ashley Hebert will be holding all the roses when filming begins next month.

Hmmm, no thank you.

Ashley seems like a nice girl and all, but she has that kind of generic Jillian Harris vibe going on. She was best known on The Bachelor for her close friendship with Ashley S., slight craziness/insecurity and exuberant family.

Does she have the spark required to have 25 men lining up to date her? Not to mention, they will all need to have good teeth!

Online gossip Reality Steve is reporting that single mom/Southern belle Maynard, who is expected to be the runner-up on this season of The Bachelor, turned down the Bachelorette gig, leaving the door open for second runner-up Ashley H.
