Synopsis:
Bird and her husband, Lem, have a little boy but when her place suffers water damage, she, Lem and the newborn must move in with her lawyer sister, Teri. As Teri deals with the tension between her and her ex-husband, Miles, she also denies, then eventually succumbs to her feelings for Damon Carter, the messenger who delivers to her office. As Ahmad encounters problems at his new prep school, Lem's cousin, Franco, newly released from jail, urges Lem to go back to his hustling ways.
