Synopsis:
During a beach party by a lake, Lois dives in and hits her head on her way into the water, but Clark is beaten to the punch when he tries to rescue her. A fellow named AC, who will one day be better known as Aquaman, outswims Clark and handles the situation. Meanwhile, Professor Fine informs Clark that Lex is involved in the manufacture of dangerous, secret weapons and offers him a research job to expose Lex. When AC, whose reason for coming to Smallville was to destroy Lex's plans for a new weapon, tries to bomb one of Lex’s weapons by sneaking into Luthercorp’s Marine facility, he is captured. Clark saves him and they must put aside their differences to stop the weapon test before it destroys sea life for miles. Clark resolves to take Fine's job offer and find out the truth behind Lex's misdeeds.
