Series based on Candace Bushnell's book "Sex and the City," which chronicles the sexy exploits of New Yorkers. Carrie Bradshaw is a young New York writer who explores the unique world of Manhattan's dating scene, chronicling the mating habits of New York's cultural elite as she looks for love in all the wrong places. Her friends include PR executive Samantha, who's seen and done it all; art dealer Charlotte, who believes that love can conquer all; corporate lawyer Miranda, ever ambivalant about real romance; and Mr. Big, a high-powered New Yorker.
