Synopsis:
As rehearsals for the pilot begin, the NBC Executive's obsession with Elaine begins to affect his work. Meanwhile, Kramer becomes forced to deal with his own 'internal plumbing' problems and Elaine starts an investigation of the coffee shop's owner and his new hiring practices. At the taping of the pilot, past guest stars of the season comment on the show and they all think it's great. The fate of the pilot is in limbo, however, when Russell, the NBC exec, disappears and he is replaced by someone who doesn't think Jerry can act.
