Tina Fey is the talk of the town with her ongoing impersonation of Sarah Palin on Saturday Night Live. Now it appears that the VP hopeful has decided that if you can't beat 'em, join 'em.
Rumor has it that Palin is in talks to appear on NBC's primetime SNL special Thursday, possibly spoofing Tina Fey's American Express TV commercials. This weekend's SNL broadcast will be a rerun; a new episode will air Oct. 18.
That's good news for Fey, who just inked a multi-million dollar book deal with publisher Little, Brown & Company, reportedly to write a humor book. Honestly, when does she have the time?
Then again, all this publicity couldn't come at a better time to promote Fey's NBC sitcom, 30 Rock, which returns for a third season Oct. 30.
Meantime, it looks like Palin's running mate will kiss and make up with David Letterman. After offending the talk show host by cancelling an appearance on his show in recent weeks, John McCain is reportedly scheduling a visit to Letterman sometime next week.
