Maybe they’re both just agitated now that they’re no longer in contention for Most Beautiful Male Castmember on Grey’s Anatomy, but Patrick “McDreamy” Dempsey and Isaiah Washington, who plays Dr. Preston Burke, nearly came to blows on set on Monday.

The issue, claims Washington, was “time and (keeping) the production going. The communication was lost in translation,” which I assume means Dempsey pulled a Lindsay Lohan and showed up late for filming. He adds that no punches were thrown: “Our faces are too beautiful for that!”

The two eventually kissed and made up. “In close families arguments happen,” says Dempsey’s rep (because apparently McDreamy doesn’t need to stoop to Washington’s level of speaking directly to the media). “They worked it out.”
