Another day, another celeb DUI. Actor Rip Torn, 75, was arrested Monday outside New York City for allegedly driving drunk and refusing to take a Breathalyzer test after he was in an accident. No one was injured in the incident.

This is Torn’s second drunk driving arrest in as many years; he was acquitted of the previous one. The actor, most recently known for his role as Zed in Men in Black (although his list of credits dates back to the ’50s), was taken to a police station after refusing to submit to a test of his blood alcohol contents, and greeted the reporters at the station like an old pro: “It’s a bunch of bullshit. The truck hit me. I didn’t do anything.” Reporters mentioned that his eyes were bloodshoot and his speech was slurred, although he survived the entire impromptu press conference without degrading Jews or blacks, which is notable these days.

His publicist, Dick Guttman (what is with these names, people?) could not be reached for comment. Mr. Torn joins the elite ranks of Paris Hilton, Mel Gibson, Haley Joel Osment and Tracy Morgan in the 2006 celebrity DUI club.
