The Real Housewives are multiplying again!

The latest spinoff of Bravo's hit franchise will be set in Washington D.C., the network announced today. The series is currently in development and seeks "personalities who are among Washington D.C.'s influential players, cultural connoisseurs, fashion sophisticates and philanthropic leaders," according to Bravo.

In other words, we can look forward to Michelle Obama-wannabes and inane dialogue about politics? Paging Laurie "I don't know what a Republican is" Waring of the OC Housewives!

Meantime, Bravo is reportedly casting in Beverly Hills for its next installment of the Real Housewives. In case you're counting, that would make six Housewives series total. Can there be too much of a good thing?
