Cythia McFadden follows two broken families that have their children's living situations decided by family courts. In one, a nine-year-old boy is shuffled between a mother and father who despise each other and each want full custody of him. In the other, a mother has two out of control teenage girls whom she needs to some control over or she will lose them.
