Synopsis:
When a woman and her abusive husband have a fight, they both end up shot. The husband is shot in the hand while the mother lay dead on the floor. A neighbor wakes two sleeping children and rushes them out of the house. As the girls wait to hear what happened, the husband gives his side of the story, which of course rules him out. The children, while only 10 at the time, get the feeling something is wrong. Eventually, the girls are sent to live with an aunt some 200 miles away, but when the aunt finds herself unable to take care of them, the girls end up in foster care. Some 10-15 years later, tragedy strikes again and one of the daughters commits suicide. Now all alone, Lisa, now 25, decides to reopen her mothers case and bring her father to justice.
