Synopsis:
Norm Henderson, a former professional hockey player convicted of gambling and tax evasion, is banned from the sport for life. Sentenced to community service, he does social work in New York City alongside his best friend Laurie, a by-the-rules worker who cares about her clients; Danny, a friend and co-worker with quirky issues of his own; lackadaisical boss Mr. Denby; and probation officer Shelly Kilmartin. Also, Norm's half-brother Artie wreaks havoc throughout Norm's life.
