Nicole Richie Denies Eating Disorder, Again

Nicole Richie is speaking out against rumors that she had an eating disorder around the time she and Lindsay Lohan ran around Hollywood looking like twin twigs. So apparently she not only suffered from anorexia, but severe amounts of denial as well.

In a new interview with British Marie Claire, the mom of two — who finally appears somewhat healthy on the magazine’s cover, perhaps thanks to her pregnancies — says reports that she had an eating disorder in 2006 are unfair and insulting.

“I felt it was a little unfair to say someone has an eating disorder when they don’t,” she said. “An eating disorder is serious and it’s a disease.”

Richie’s frame has been dwindling ever since she appeared as the (relatively) pudgy sidekick to Paris Hilton in The Simple Life, culminating with a disturbing tabloid photo of a skeletal Richie jogging on the beach in a bikini.

She’s since put enough weight to successfully birth two babies.
