Synopsis:  The story of Dick Loudon, a history buff and author of "How-To" books who moves from New York City to a small town in Vermont to run the Stratford Inn, a 200-year-old establishment badly in need of repair. Dick struggles to run the inn and maintain his peace of mind, certain he's the only sane man in a community of eccentrics.
