NBC Cancels Lipstick Jungle, My Own Worst Enemy

Sorry, Brooke Shields — Lipstick Jungle is dead. At least you still have those crazy Volkswagen commercials to keep you afloat.
NBC has cancelled the ratings-challenged drama shortly after shipping it off to Friday nights. Who didn’t see this coming?
Lipstick Jungle survived its first season and beat out competitor Cashmere Mafia, but struggled for viewers in its sophomore season. Five unaired episodes remain, but who knows whether anyone will get to see them?
In related news, NBC has pulled the plug on My Own Worst Enemy, a new drama starring Christian Slater. This from a network that renewed Knight Rider and Kath & Kim? Who is making decisions at NBC, a monkey?
