My Name is Earl Round-Up

I’m a little late, but I wanted to give a few remarks on the first episode of the season for My Name is Earl. The comedy delivered its usual subtle laughs on Thursday night, with Randy again doing the heavy comedic lifting. A classic line from him (upon spray painting his name on a stolen truck): “If the police come, tip it over!”

The show ended with a cliffhanger — as if we weren’t tuning in again on Thursday! My Name is Earl remains my third favorite comedy on television, and anything with Jason Lee deserves an audience. Putting the show on early Thursday before The Office is also a nice appetizer to Grey’s Anatomy. Here’s hoping the show continues to explore the love-hate relationship between Joy and Earl and gives us more awesome Crabman fun.
