Synopsis:
The series, set in California, relates the adventures of Madeline "Maddie" Hayes, a former model who must dispose of her properties after being embezzled of all her assets. David Addison, who operates one of her businesses, the Blue Moon Detective Agency, persuades Maddie to join him as partner in the Agency rather than dissolve the business. Their activities, antagonisms, and flirtations form the basis of the plot.
