Synopsis:
In an all-hands-on-deck crisis at the hospital, a determined Veronica saves the sole survivor of a horrific nightclub fire. The patient's struggle with survivor's guilt strikes a chord with therapy-averse Veronica, who realizes that her patient is not the only one who could benefit by talking to someone about her experiences. Tired of being viewed by others as a kid, Chloe seeks the respect of her coworkers and the affections of a workplace crush by getting a grown-up wardrobe and a take-charge attitude to match. Meanwhile, Sonia butts heads with an energetic new female doctor and the nurses of Mercy Hospital are shocked to see Dr. Harris romancing a mysterious beauty.
