As Jessica recovers from the worst summer ever, sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has been fired from The CW's Melrose Place.
The newlywed and young mom plays a devious small-town girl named Violet on the Melrose remake. Is she the worst actress on the show? Probably.
Ashlee isn't the only one to get the boot -- Colin Egglesfield will exit the show as well. Their last episode will air in January.
